Using CLASS to Include Diverse Learners During the Early Childhood Day

According to a US News and World Report released in June 2018, the number of students receiving special education in the United States is now at 13 percent. As early educators, it is our job to make our classrooms as inclusive as possible for students with all learning needs. The CLASS domains provide a targeted solution for pinpointing how educators and administrators can use their teaching teams and classroom environments to meaningfully involve children with IEPs, 504Bs during the daily routines of the classroom. The presentation will go domain-by-domain to identify which areas can be most challenging and what solutions can be offered that still follow CLASS procedures.

Recorded April 2019 at the InterAct CLASS Summit.
