    Invite a colleague to join:

Learn about the work Teachstone has completed to align select training and professional development courses to the Council for Professional Recognition’s CDA requirements.

    • If you are participating in Teachstone trainings and professional development, did you know that you can apply the hours to the 120-hour requirement for your CDA credential application?
    • If you already hold a CDA, did you know that you can apply select Teachstone courses to your 45-hour renewal requirement?
    • If you are participating in Teachstone professional development, have you considered applying the course hours to a CDA?

Courses can be used for the 120 clock hours that are required for an initial CDA or the 45 clock hours that are required for a CDA renewal. Rebecca will share an overview of the eight CDA Subject Areas including the four—Areas 1, 2, 3, and 7—to which Teachstone courses align.

She will them provide an overview of the Teachstone Course and CDA Subject Area Crosswalk for the Center-based Preschool Credential and the Center-based Infant-Toddler Credential requirements. Finally, she will share the process that Teachstone and the Council have developed to ensure that Teachstone courses will be approved.
