As you watch this video, look for how the trainer:

  • Breaks the CLASS concepts down into simple terms
  • Illustrates how different aspects of an interaction are considered in different dimensions
  • Walks the participants through a scenario from a training video to review it critically

The trainer also:

  • Restates a participant’s question for the whole group

In its simplest form, what is each domain about?

Read
Read the blog post 6 Facilitation Tips for Challenging Training Videos for more insight into leading discussions about the CLASS training videos.

Practice
Write down what each domain is about in your own, simplest terms. Go into the manual, identify quotes that support your definitions, and make note of them. If possible, share your definitions and supporting quotes with a colleague who is familiar with CLASS and get their feedback.
