At Teachstone, we are committed to empowering educators with transformative professional learning experiences. We are thrilled to offer the InterAct CLASS® Summit Scholarship program, designed to support and celebrate dedicated professionals in early childhood education.

Scholarship Benefits

• Complimentary registration for the InterAct CLASS Summit
• Coverage of hotel accommodations, meals, and travel expenses

Scholarships Available

• Local Leader:  To give back to the greater New Orleans community, this scholarship will be open only to leaders who live within a 100-mile radius of downtown New Orleans. This scholarship is geared toward program leaders who strongly believe in promoting equity and diversity in their work in the New Orleans area.
• Head Start Hero: Open to those working in Head Start programs who are making a profound impact on children and families. It supports individuals whose work aligns with the mission of enhancing early childhood education.
• Coach with CLASS: For instructional coaches applying CLASS to improve interactions in not-for-profit childcare settings. This scholarship supports coaches who are committed to advancing educational quality.

Who Should Apply

• Face financial barriers that prevent them from attending
• Have not previously attended an in-person InterAct CLASS Summit
• Have at least two years of experience and a demonstrated commitment to their community and to improving classroom interactions

Scholarship Expectations

• Share the tools and resources you acquire from attending the InterAct CLASS Summit with your colleagues or local community. Examples might include:
  • Lunch and learn at a staff meeting
  • Host an online webinar 
  • Share in professional learning communities 
• Write a blog post or share their CLASS story on Teachstone’s website or podcasts (Teaching with CLASS or Impacting the Classroom)

  • Describe your role and how you will contribute to the diversity and dedication of our attendees. How does your work support the mission of improving classroom interactions?
  • Share details about the community you serve and how attending the summit will benefit them.
  • Explain how you plan to leverage the knowledge gained from the summit to impact your community.
