- Models the behaviors associated with a CLASS indicator
- Employs a variety of examples to illustrate a point
- Restates definitions repeatedly using her own words

The trainer also:

 

- Incorporates the participants’ names in her examples
- Makes a joke and smiles with the participants

****Practice**  
Try using self-talk for a whole minute as you go about some of your routine tasks. Then grab a coworker and practice parallel talk while observing each other. See if you can find ways of modeling the other indicators of Language Modeling in your conversations.**
