Meaningful Partnerships: Exploring the Relationship between the CLASS Measure and NAEYC’s Accreditation

There are many resources for organizations engaged in quality improvement efforts. In fact, it can be confusing to understand which tools to use and how multiple tools can be used in a complementary fashion. Understand the relationships among various quality improvement tools and measurements, by examining the specific partnership between Teachstone and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Learn about the purpose of program and classroom assessment tools, and more closely examine the relationship between NAEYC’s program accreditation criteria and the CLASS measure for preschool classrooms. See examples of how these tools are similar and different and understand how this information can be useful for supporting their own quality improvement efforts. Presented by Amy Cubbage, Sara Diamond, Susan Hedges, and Monica Prince
