Discrimination Teachstone is committed to a work environment in which all individuals are free from harassment or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. Teachstone prohibits and will not tolerate any acts of discrimination or harassment. Harassment is defined as verbal or physical conduct that denigrates or shows hostility toward an employee because of one or more of these factors and that interferes with an employee’s work performance or creates a hostile, intimidating, or offensive work environment. This policy applies to all employees and independent contractors of Teachstone. This policy prohibits harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, whether engaged in by fellow employees, a manager, a department head, or by someone not directly connected to Teachstone (e.g., an outside vendor, consultant, or customer).
