A: InterAct will take place April 19–20, 2027, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland. We’ll share the full schedule, including session and reception details, as we get closer to the event.
Q: What is this year’s theme?
A: Our 2027 theme is “Human at the Heart. Expanding What’s Possible.”
Meaningful interactions have always been at the heart of learning and development. This year, we’ll explore how insight, innovation, technology, data, and community can expand educators’ access to knowledge and support—while keeping people and relationships at the center of the work.
Q: Who should attend?

InterAct brings together early childhood leaders, administrators, CLASS® observers, coaches, educators, policymakers, researchers, and others working to strengthen educator-child interactions.
Whether you’re new to CLASS or have years of experience, you’ll find practical ideas, meaningful conversations, and sessions designed for different roles and levels of expertise.
Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: Registration rates for InterAct 2027 are:
Early Bird Registration: $700
Regular Registration: $775
Group Discount (10+ participants): $700 after early bird ends
Q: Where should I stay?
A: InterAct will be held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. Our room rate starts at $239 per night, plus taxes and fees. The deadline to reserve a room within the InterAct block is March 29, 2027, while rooms remain available.
Q: I would love to attend InterAct, but the cost may be a barrier. Are scholarships available?
A: Yes! We offer a limited number of scholarships to help members of our community attend InterAct. Scholarship applications open October 14 and close November 25, 2026. Recipients will be notified in January 2027. We’ll share the application and additional details on the InterAct website once applications open.

Q: I want to present at InterAct! How can I submit a proposal?
A: We’d love to hear your ideas! We’re looking for practical strategies, actionable insights, research, and stories that can help our community strengthen interactions and expand what’s possible for educators and children.
The call for proposals closes October 30, 2026. Selected speakers will be notified in November. Check out last year's agenda!
