FAQs about the InterAct CLASS Summit and InterAct Now: CLASS Summit 2023


Q: When is the in-person InterAct CLASS Summit?
A: The in-person conference will take place April 18-19, 2023 in Miami, Florida at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. The in-person summit will be an intimate event, focused on building connection, collaboration, and networking. Beyond the conference sessions, your breakfast and lunch are included on both days, and there is a reception following the Summit on Wednesday. Expect sessions on topics such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Stories of Impact, Using Data to Drive Improvement, CLASS, Content, and Curriculum, and Scale and Systems Planning. Hurry! Q: When is the virtual InterAct: Now CLASS Summit?
A: The virtual 2023 InterAct Now: CLASS Summit will take place over two days, May 2-4, 2023. We'll kick off with a keynote Tuesday morning, and then you can join a mix of breakout sessions, keynotes, networking opportunities, and Q & A time. Registration for our virtual summit opens on January 11, 2023.


Q: What is the difference between the in-person and virtual Summits? 
A: Both Summits will be centered around building connections, but they have their own benefits as well. The In-person Summit in Miami will be full of opportunities to network, collaborate, and learn from one another. There will also be provided meals, a reception, and unique opportunities to connect with Teachstone. The virtual summit is more accessible, full of sessions with explicit tips and takeaways to implement in your career. The agendas will have similar sessions based on the same topics, but the In-person sessions will be more interactive than virtual.


Q: Who should attend? 
The in-person Summit is intended for CLASS® observers, administrators, consultants, and all other leaders in early education. Across the tracks will be content for those who are new to CLASS as well as those with all levels of CLASS experience.

Want more of your staff to join? Because space is limited, we encourage program leaders to invite more of their team to join our virtual Summit in May which includes more programming for educators, coaches, and leaders alike.  


Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: In-Person Early Bird Registration (until January 6): $500
     In-Person Regular Registration (January 7-April 7): $575
     In-Person Group Discount (10+ participants): $500
     Virtual Early Bird Registration (January 11-March 10): $150
     Virtual Regular Registration (After March 10) :$200
     Virtual Group Discount (10+ participants): $150


Q: What if I want to attend the summit but can’t afford it?
A: Scholarships for InterAct are now closed. The application process closed on Friday, January 6, 2023. Everyone who applied for a scholarship will be notified by Friday, January 20, 2023.


Q: I want to present at InterAct! 
A: The deadline for proposals was December 2, 2022. We will announce accepted and rejected proposals on December 15, 2022.


Q: Do you have a justification document I can provide to my Administrator? 
A: Yes! We have a justification document for our in-person summit as well as our virtual summit!


Q: I'm not available to participate in the full virtual conference but would like to watch the sessions I miss. Will they be recorded? 
Yes! Everyone who attends the Summit will have access to all the recordings, handouts, and resources shared for 6 months. This means you could be in one breakout session and still view the other sessions later. This also means that if you have to step away from the conference for a moment, you can be sure you won't miss anything.  


Q: Do I need any special technology to participate in the virtual summit?
No. All you will need is internet access. You can join from your phone, tablet, or laptop.
