The Basics

Q: When is the Summit?
The InterAct CLASS Summit is on April 20 and 21, 2020. You can also stay the rest of the week and attend one of the many CLASS trainings offered April 22–24. Registration for CLASS trainings is not included in the cost of the ticket for the InterAct CLASS Summit.

Q: How much is the CLASS Summit?
Buy your ticket now before the early bird rate ends!
Early Bird (until January 17): $400
Regular Price (January 18-April 10): $550

Pricing for presenters:
Long-form presentations (One and two hour sessions): $250
Short-form presentations (lightning talk): $300

Q: Besides the conference sessions, what does the registration cost include?
A: Your ticket includes access to all session during the summit as well as a gourmet breakfast and lunch on both days. Coffee and tea will also be available throughout the day. You're also invited to join the fun at Monday evening's reception with free cocktails and hors-d'oeuvre.

Q: How big is the InterAct CLASS Summit?
A: We believe in keeping our summit intimate. Each year we cap our registration at just a few hundred to ensure that we don't lose the sense of community and connection. You'll be able to meet everyone, share a drink with the presenters, and not feel like you're missing anything. 

Q: Who attends InterAct?
A: Leaders from across the field of early childhood and K-12 educational systems attend the summit, including educators at every level: statewide decision-makers, administrators, instructional coaches, assessors, and teachers. If you believe that every child should have access to life-changing teachers who will intentionally prepare them for academic and emotional success—and that you have a role to play in this future—then you belong at the InterAct CLASS Summit.  

Q: How do I convince my supervisor that the InterAct Summit is worth the investment?

Add-on Workshop Day

We’re excited to announce three optional workshops for this year’s InterAct CLASS Summit. Workshops will be on Sunday, April 19. Workshop attendees can choose to bundle a morning and afternoon workshop or pick just one. Workshops are not included in the standard 2-day conference ticket.

  • Use Your CLASS Data to Improve Teaching Quality: Learn how to make the most of your CLASS data and how to use it to improve teaching quality
  • Coaching with CLASS to Drive Improvement: Learn how to make CLASS coaching individualized, strengths-based and aligned with your teachers’ goals.

Q: What times are the workshops?
A: The morning workshop will be from 8:00-12:00 with a breakfast included.
    The afternoon workshop will be from 1:00-5:00 with a lunch included.

Q: What is the pricing for the workshops?

Logistics and Travel

Q: Where is InterAct 2020 located?

Q: How do I reserve a room at the hotel? 
We're excited to be able to offer a great group rate: $219 (plus tax) per night. You can reserve your room here. Don't wait! The special rate ends March 27th. If you plan on flying into San Diego, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from San Diego International Airport. 

Q: I have some dietary restrictions. Will you be able to accommodate them?
A: Breakfast and lunch will be served buffet style. When you register, you'll be asked to describe any dietary restrictions you have. The hotel can accommodate most dietary needs. 

Q: Sadly, I bought a ticket but cannot attend. Can I get a refund? 
A: Yes; tickets will be refunded minus a $75 fee until March 15, 2020.
