| Amy started out her career in early childhood education as a teacher after completing her undergraduate degree from Brown University. She went on to get her JD at Northeastern University School of Law and an MS in Leadership and Policy in Early Care and Education from Wheelock College. Amy worked as a National Head Start Fellow for the federal Administration for Children and Families (ACF), after which she consulted with early childhood education agencies on a range of topics. She served as adjunct faculty at both Wheelock College and Eastern Connecticut State University and co- authored a chapter with Joan Lombardi on Head Start’s legislative history in The Head Start Debates. Throughout Amy’s career, she has been an active member of affiliates of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). She was first introduced to the CLASS tool as an MTP Coach with the National Center for Research on Early Childhood Education (NCRECE)’s Professional Development Study. Since joining Teachstone in 2010, Amy has served as an MTP Specialist and MTP Coaching Program Manager. | |

| For 20 years, Andrea has provided organizational development, early childhood education, and social impact program evaluation services for nonprofit, private, corporate, and government organizations. Prior to founding Heartland Grant Solutions, Andrea held academic positions at two colleges, was a Director of Research at a university in California, and built and managed an institutional grants department at the largest community college in Colorado. She most recently held a state level leadership role as the Executive Director for the Colorado Head Start Association which builds upon her former role as a Grants and Government Relations Manager for a multi-national early care and education corporation and as the Executive Director of a large Head Start/Early Head Start grantee organization. Andrea has also owned and operated her own child care program and worked in a number of leadership, training, and direct service roles in the early care and education arena. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child Development and a Master of Arts Degree in Sociology with a concentration in Program Evaluation. Over the past six years, Andrea has successfully captured more than $200 million in grant funds to support social problem solving efforts across the U.S. This experience includes successful HS/EHS recompetition proposals in each round. | |
