Daniel LaCava, Trainer | Daniel came to Teachstone from Los Angeles in 2010 after graduating from Loyola Marymount University with an M.A. in education. Prior to that he received a B.A. in psychology from the University of Arkansas. His initial work with the CLASS was as an observer on the Gates Foundation's Measures of Effective Teaching study, before contributing to many projects for both UVA's Center for the Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning, as well as for Teachstone. He has been training with a focus on the UE and Secondary tools since 2011, and more recently attained Pre-K and K-3 trainer certifications. Daniel spends most of his free time rock climbing or snowboarding in the deserts and mountains of Utah, where he currently lives. He was recently ordained as a minister in order to officiate his little sister's wedding.
